MOOC Dropout Prediction with Model Stacking
We are asked to predict the probability of the event that a student will drop out a course. We firstly extracted many features from the huge dataset. Then we used ensemble learning machine and model stacking technique to get the final result, which ranked the 1st in 68 teams.

Een van de verbanden tussen magie en wiskunde is de anamorfosekunst. Een anamorfosekunstwerk is een vervormde tekening die haar ware aard pas laat zien wanneer ze vanuit een welbepaald standpunt bekeken wordt (de perspectivistische anamorfose) of wanneer ze weerspiegeld wordt in spiegel met een welbepaalde vorm (de spiegelanamorfose). In deze studie gaat het alleen over de perspectivistische anamorfosen. Wiskundig leggen ze een link met centrale projecties en met centraalperspectief.

Margherita 2 Plotting, DAQ, and Heater Driving Recipes
After the fixture was sealed within the bell jar, the Margherita 2 underwent bakeout and a test seal on a one-inch tile. Following this small success, a larger project of sealing a larger tile during cesiation launched in the final week of the author's summer in the LAPPD Lab. Central to the ability to control these processes is the ability to monitor temperatures, pressures, and RGA plots as well as adjust heating inputs accurately and timely. This report documents the heating procedures, basic sealing cycle, and plotting past events or in real-time with the Margherita 2 infrastructure.

Graduation Thesis - High Performance Fibre-Reinforced Concrete (HPFRC) for Structural Strengthening
In recent years the attention towards the restoration and strengthening of existing buildings built with reinforced concrete has gradually increased, especially because of the existence of numerous structures built according to outdated standards that consequently do not respect the requirements under current regulations. In order to increase the useful life of buildings or to make seismic adjustments, restoration of the bearing capacities or also as a result of increases in overloads, the increase of the carrying capacity of existing structures becomes fundamental, with specific reference to buildings built before the 60s of the twentieth century. The usual strengthening techniques are characterized by the use of thick reinforced concrete jackets, which cause an excessive increase in the dimensions of the buildings. It was studied the possibility of being able to moderate appreciably the thickness of this type of strengthening through the use of jackets made with High Performance Fibre-Reinforced Concrete (HPFRC). According to diagnostic investigations carried out on many buildings, it was noticed that in the past it was often used scarce quality concrete and in addition to problems related to the need for seismic improvement or adaptation, there is a need to provide a significant increase in the bearing capacity of the gravitational loads. This thesis focuses on the increase of resistance on reinforced concrete elements that have a low percentage of reinforcement or inadequate shear reinforcement, using High Performance Fibre-Reinforced Concrete jackets of reduced thickness.
